He is one of the martyrs of Kerbala. His grandfather took part in the battles of Jamal, Sifin and Nehrawan and was a companion of Hazrat Ali (A.S). He was also a brave young man from Koofa. He was martyred on the day of Aashoora. His name appears in 'Ziarat-e-Rajabiyya'. It is doubted that he is perhaps same as Abdur Rehman bin Urwa Ghifari.
